Site Services Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Site Services Engineer to join our Engineering Team in Newtownards. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing the day-to-day operation of core site services, including the wastewater treatment plant, to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime while ensuring compliance with regulatory and food safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities- Manage the operation of core site services, including wastewater treatment, to ensure optimal performance and efficiency.
- Monitor and report on key performance targets for services availability and energy reduction.
- Deliver improvements to site services and maintenance processes to achieve site objectives.
- Collaborate with the Site Services Manager to develop and implement maintenance plans and schedules.
- Ensure completion of all planned and reactive maintenance in accordance with regulatory and food safety requirements.
- 5 GCSEs, including at least grade C in English and Maths (or equivalent).
- Recognized apprenticeship in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering with substantial post-qualification experience in a maintenance environment.
- Desirable: HNC, HND, or degree-level education in Electrical or Mechatronic Engineering.
- Proven experience in site mechanical and electrical services, including steam generation, water services, CHP, cooling towers, HVAC, fire systems, WWTP, and LV electrical systems.
- Experience in food manufacturing and supervisory experience of contractors.
- L8 legionella training and IOSH/NEBOSH safety qualification desirable.
