About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Battery Raw Materials Research team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading lithium market analysis and forecasts, providing critical insights to our clients and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the lithium market, including supply and demand trends, market balance, and price forecasts.
  • Lead on lithium market analysis and forecasts, including data collection, analysis, and modeling.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement market research and analysis strategies.
  • Provide expert insights and recommendations to clients and internal stakeholders on lithium market trends and developments.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with market participants, including suppliers, manufacturers, and industry experts.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments, trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to drive business growth and innovation.
Requirements
  • 2-4 years of relevant experience in data collection, management, analysis, and forecast model development, including internship(s).
  • Strong knowledge of lithium and other battery raw materials, battery chemistries, EV and ESS markets.
  • Excellent data identification and acquisition expertise, with the ability to conduct primary and secondary research.
  • Comprehensive understanding of statistical modeling and forecasting, particularly with regards to time series data.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft, data analysis, and forecast modeling applications.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering results and driving business growth.
