Job Description

About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Analyst to join our Battery Raw Materials research team. As a Senior Analyst, you will be responsible for leading on lithium market analysis and forecasts, working closely with our team of researchers and analysts to deliver high-quality insights to our clients.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain in-depth knowledge of the lithium market, including supply and demand trends, market balance, and price forecasts.
  • Lead on the development of our lithium market forecasts, working closely with our research team to ensure accurate and timely delivery.
  • Conduct primary and secondary research to gather data and insights on the lithium market, including industry trends, market developments, and regulatory updates.
  • Collaborate with our editorial, marketing, and sales teams to ensure that our research and insights are effectively communicated to our clients.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with market participants, including industry experts, suppliers, and clients.

Requirements

  • 2-4 years of experience in data collection, management, analysis, and forecast model development, preferably in the battery or commodities research industry.
  • Strong knowledge of lithium and other battery raw materials, including battery chemistries, EV and ESS markets.
  • Excellent data identification and acquisition expertise, with the ability to critically assess statistical analyses and forecast models.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft and data analysis and forecast modeling applications.
  • Excellent writing and verbal skills, with the ability to present complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team, with a strong focus on delivering high-quality results.
