Job Overview

This role will involve developing strong working relationships with collaborating partners, creating training materials and deploying sessions in cutting-edge computational metabolomics, hosting visiting scientists, and contributing to joint research projects.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement advanced computational methods for integrating disparate metabolomics datasets.
  • Create high-quality training materials and deliver tailored training sessions to meet the needs of various learners.
  • Host and collaborate with visiting scientists to advance mutual knowledge and skills in computational metabolomics.
  • Pursue independent research projects, utilizing computational metabolomics expertise to inform training and collaboration efforts.
Requirements:
  • PhD (or equivalent) in Bioinformatics, Metabolomics, or a related field.
  • Experience in processing, modeling, and interpreting LCMS metabolomic data.
  • Familiarity with computational methods used in integrating metabolomics datasets.
  • Demonstrated track record of technical problem-solving in metabolomic data modeling.
  • Experience in developing high-quality scientific software, preferably in Python.
