Job Title: Clinical Informatics Nurse

Cromwell Hospital, a leading private hospital in London, is seeking a highly skilled Clinical Informatics Nurse to join our team. As a key member of our ICU department, you will play a vital role in shaping the future of our Critical Care Unit.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a Clinical Informatics Nurse with a strong background in clinical informatics and a passion for delivering world-class care. You will be responsible for leading the development, configuration, and customization of our ICCA system to meet clinical and operational needs. Your expertise will ensure seamless integration with our existing healthcare IT systems, promoting efficient workflows and data-driven decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement clinical workflows and data standards to optimize patient care and outcomes.
  • Collaborate with IT, clinical staff, and other stakeholders to identify and resolve system issues, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.
  • Design and deliver training programs for clinical staff on the use of the ICCA system, promoting best practices and efficient use.
  • Oversee data integrity, security, and compliance within the ICCA system, ensuring accurate and reliable patient information.
  • Maintain comprehensive documentation of system configurations, changes, and user guides.
  • Ensure the system is aligned with hospital and national policies/guidance.
  • Build SQL reports to analyze data and inform clinical decisions.
  • Monitor backup systems and processes to ensure data safety and integrity.
Requirements:
  • Registered Nurse with a valid nursing license.
  • Experience working within ICU.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in clinical informatics or a related field.
  • Proficiency in the development and maintenance of the ICCA system.
  • Strong understanding of clinical workflows and healthcare IT systems.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in working with Excel.
  • Ideal experience in using SQL.
  • Effective communication and training skills.
