About the Role

Estimated Salary: $140,000 - $200,000 per annum

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director to join our team as Director of Strategic Financial Guidance. This is an exciting opportunity for a talented individual to contribute to the success of our organization by leading the development and implementation of strategic financial guidance policies and procedures.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance, with experience in financial steering, process improvement analysis, and business process reengineering. They will be able to provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters, including regulatory reporting processes, liquidity and scarce resources management, and product control.

The role requires excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into simple manageable units and develop solutions that integrate well with the organization's overall goals.

The successful candidate will be a strategic thinker, with the ability to communicate effectively with top management and stakeholders. They will also be able to drive change and influence without authority, with a strong commitment to adaptability, autonomy, and innovation.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement strategic financial guidance policies and procedures to improve financial performance and reduce costs
  • Provide expert advice and guidance on financial matters, including regulatory reporting processes, liquidity and scarce resources management, and product control
  • Lead process improvement analysis and business process reengineering initiatives to optimize financial performance
  • Communicate effectively with top management and stakeholders to ensure alignment and buy-in on strategic financial guidance policies and procedures
Requirements
  • MBA/CA/CFA or equivalent qualification in finance
  • Minimum 10-15 years of experience in financial services, with a strong background in financial steering
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to break down complex problems into simple manageable units
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with top management and stakeholders
