Job Title: LBTQ Women's Substance Support Outreach Worker

Birmingham LGBT is seeking a skilled and compassionate Outreach Worker to join our Substance Support team. The successful candidate will work with individuals who are struggling with substance misuse issues, providing support and guidance to help them achieve their goals.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and engage with individuals who are at risk of substance misuse
  • Provide support and guidance to help individuals overcome substance misuse issues
  • Work with the Substance Support team to develop and implement harm minimization strategies
  • Collaborate with other organizations to provide comprehensive support services
Requirements:
  • Experience working with individuals who are struggling with substance misuse issues
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Knowledge of harm minimization strategies and substance misuse support services
