Job Title: Cleaning Operative - Facilities Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cleaning Operative - Facilities Specialist to join our team at ABM. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for ensuring the cleanliness and maintenance of our premises, providing exceptional customer service, and working closely with our clients to deliver high-quality results.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Carry out daily cleaning tasks, including hoovering, mopping, and cleaning washrooms and kitchens
  • Conduct deep cleans as required, using buffers and carpet cleaners, and ensuring premises are safe and disinfected regularly
  • Remove waste, replenish consumables and supplies, and attend to reactive jobs (spillages)
  • Provide excellent customer service, working closely with clients and their staff
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety policies and procedures
  • Represent ABM values on site, being presentable, uniformed, and helpful at all times

Requirements:

  • Previous cleaning experience, preferably with a focus on unsupervised work and prioritizing workload
  • Strong customer service and leadership skills
  • Problem-solving and time management skills
  • Ability to work to set schedules and on own initiative
  • Flexible and proactive attitude
  • Understanding and knowledge of health and safety policies
