LOCATION: Intel Livingston
PAY RATE: £11.44 per hour
WORKING HOURS: 15 hours per week
SHIFT PATTERN: Monday to Friday, 6am - 9am
OVERVIEW OF JOB DESCRIPTION
As a Cleaning Operative, you will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness in a prestigious environment, which includes washrooms, kitchens, carpets, and surrounding areas.
Main Duties & Responsibilities:
- Performing cleaning tasks such as vacuuming and mopping, as well as maintaining washrooms and kitchens.
- Conducting deep cleaning as necessary, with training provided for the use of buffers and carpet cleaning equipment.
- Ensuring that the premises are safe and hygienic through regular disinfection.
- Managing waste removal, restocking consumables, and addressing immediate cleaning needs such as spillages.
- Providing excellent customer service while collaborating with clients and their staff.
Person Specification:
- Must present a professional appearance and possess strong communication skills.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and be approachable and courteous.
- Demonstrate a strong work ethic, with good time management and attendance.
Essential Requirements:
- Previous experience in cleaning is preferred, particularly in unsupervised roles with an emphasis on prioritizing tasks.
- Strong customer service skills and the ability to lead effectively.
- Proficient in problem-solving and managing time efficiently.
- Ability to adhere to schedules and work independently.
- Flexibility and a proactive approach are essential.
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations is required.
