Senior Chef De Partie Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Chef De Partie to join our dynamic kitchen team at Tiverton Lounge & Venue, a renowned hotel and event space within Crest Hotels.

Key Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook high-quality dishes, adhering to recipes and presentation standards.
  • Assist in the development of new menu items and seasonal specials, contributing to the hotel's culinary excellence.
  • Maintain high standards of hygiene, cleanliness, and safety in the kitchen, ensuring a comfortable and healthy work environment.
  • Support and mentor junior kitchen staff through training and hands-on guidance, fostering a culture of teamwork and excellence.
  • Ensure all food is stored, prepared, and served in line with HACCP regulations, upholding the hotel's commitment to quality and safety.
  • Work collaboratively with the kitchen team to ensure smooth service during busy periods, providing exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Requirements

  • Previous experience as a Chef De Partie or Senior CDP in a busy kitchen environment, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality dishes.
  • Strong knowledge of food safety and hygiene regulations, with the ability to implement and maintain high standards in the kitchen.
  • Ability to work efficiently under pressure, while managing multiple tasks and prioritizing responsibilities.
  • A passion for delivering high-quality food and a keen eye for detail, with a commitment to excellence in every aspect of kitchen operations.
  • Flexibility to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, with a willingness to adapt to changing demands and priorities.
