About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced NCS Project Officer to join our team at Groundwork South. As a key member of our team, you will play a crucial role in supporting the smooth running of our Community Experiences, leading and inspiring cohorts of young people aged 16 to 17.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver Employability, Life Skills and Social Action sessions, coordinating programmes to meet the needs of our young people.
  • Work closely with existing Groundwork provision, staff in schools, colleges, and other local youth provision to ensure seamless delivery of NCS.
  • Support and work with the Youth Project Manager and Team Leader to coordinate and deliver NCS.
  • Provide pastoral support for young people and report any safeguarding concerns to your Team Leader.
Requirements
  • Prior experience of working with young people and programme coordination and delivery.
  • Ability to work evening and weekends to support the delivery of NCS.
  • Travel flexibility is essential, with locations for NCS delivery at Groundwork South offices or another venue.
