Key Responsibilities
  • Provide legal advice and representation to clients across a spectrum of children's public law and private law matters.
  • Support the safeguarding of children and ensure the Local Authority is fulfilling its statutory duties.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide advice and support to clients.
  • Develop and maintain knowledge of relevant laws and procedures.
Requirements
  • Experience of law and practice relating to Child Care and Adoption.
  • Experience of and ability to effectively use IT equipment.
  • Highly effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to give clear and accurate legal advice.
