About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Communications and Engagement Officer to join our team at the NHS. As a key member of our communications team, you will be responsible for delivering outstanding integrated communications and engagement work to support our organisation's objectives.

The successful candidate will have a thorough understanding of administrative procedures, including specialist software packages, and will be able to articulate the benefits of integrated engagement and communications functions.

You will work closely with colleagues across South West London ICB, including primary care networks, local voluntary, community and social enterprises, Healthwatch as well as NHS England and other relevant organisations.

Your key responsibilities will include ensuring that the local health and care systems activities are promoted through the website, local events, and social networks, and supporting the delivery of a range of involvement and communication channels to support our diverse communities.

You will also be responsible for updating the ICB and ICP public websites and submitting content for reports and presentations to relevant Boards and Committees.

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Thorough knowledge of administrative procedures, including specialist software packages.
  • Experience of working in a complex, multidisciplinary environment.
  • Intermediate (or advanced) Keyboard skill - ability to use Microsoft Office package.
