Nutrition and Hospitality Lead Position

We are seeking a skilled Nutrition and Hospitality Lead to join our team at Barchester Healthcare, a leading provider of healthcare services in the UK.

The estimated salary for this role is £38,000 - £48,000 per annum, depending on experience.

About the Role
  • This position involves working as a qualified chef to create nutritious and flavoursome meals for residents, maintaining high standards of hospitality.
  • You will assist the Head Chef in creating menus using fresh seasonal produce and manage the kitchen in their absence.
Main Responsibilities

As a Nutrition and Hospitality Lead, you will be responsible for:

  • Developing and implementing menu plans that cater to the dietary needs of our residents.
  • Managing kitchen staff and ensuring a safe and efficient work environment.
  • Collaborating with the head chef to achieve culinary excellence and maintain high standards of quality.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A personable and warm approach with a genuine interest in residents' wellbeing.
  • Holding City & Guilds/NVQ/SVQ or equivalent qualification.
  • Experience in helping lead and inspire a team.
  • A good understanding of nutrition and working with fresh seasonal food.
