Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and HCPC registered Dietitian to join our team in providing exceptional patient care. As a Pediatric Dietitian, you will work in regular and flexible shifts, ensuring the smooth transition of patients from hospital to community settings.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough nutritional assessments for patients with complex medical conditions, identifying areas for improvement and developing personalized plans.
  • Educate and empower patients with diet-related disorders, providing practical advice on lifestyle and food choices that promote overall health and wellbeing.
  • Deliver engaging group sessions for healthcare professionals and patient groups, fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge sharing.
  • Work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure patient-centered care is provided, addressing individual needs and preferences.
  • Liaise with hospital staff and external agencies to ensure seamless transitions and continued support for patients upon discharge.
  • Promote healthy eating habits and nutrition education within the community, raising awareness about the importance of diet and nutrition for optimal health.
  • Collaborate with healthcare professionals to enhance their understanding of food and nutrition issues, driving improved patient outcomes.
  • Provide expert advice to hospital catering departments on specific patient dietary requirements, ensuring tailored meal solutions.
  • Establish and manage clinics in hospital outpatient departments or GP surgeries, delivering high-quality care to patients in need.
