About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Administrator to join our client, a successful engineering organisation based in the Glasgow area, on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will support a team of engineers and be responsible for various administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process and quality check engineers' timesheets on time & attendance system
  • Order materials for multiple sites, ensuring prompt delivery to meet deadlines
  • Build strong relationships with key suppliers
  • Raise purchase orders
  • Create, print, and issue documentation and files
  • Collate and record data for multiple sites
  • Create reports using MS Word and Excel
  • Provide general ad-hoc administration support

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a varied Administration position, ideally within a manufacturing &/or engineering environment
  • Confident IT skills, including MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and ideally CRM/database systems
  • Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy skills
  • Good communication skills, able to build strong relationships internally and externally
  • Able to work in a fast-paced, varied role with the ability to change priorities depending on the needs of the team and business
