About the Role

This is an exciting opportunity to join Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust as a CAMHS Consultant Clinical Psychologist.

We are seeking a highly experienced and skilled Clinical Psychologist to work in our Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (CAMHS) team. The successful candidate will be responsible for assessing, formulating, and managing care for children and young people with complex mental health needs.

Estimated Salary: £90,000 per annum

About You

To be successful in this role, you will need to have substantial post-qualification experience of working in Young People's mental health services. You should also have extensive experience of working effectively with people with mental health difficulties in the community and/or inpatient services.

In addition, you should have extensive experience of assessing and managing risk, including safeguarding, and experience of mentoring and supervision of others.

Desirable Criteria:

  • Post qualification experience of a specific therapy working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health
  • Experience of working in Child and Adolescent Mental Health Services (i.e., Inpatient or CAMHS)
