Job Title: Drivers Mate

At Interaction Recruitment, we are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Drivers Mate to join our team. As a Drivers Mate, you will play a critical role in supporting our Customer Delivery and Installation Drivers, ensuring the safe delivery and installation of electrical products to our customers.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Safe Delivery and Installation: Safely deliver, install, and demonstrate White Goods, Televisions, and Cookers in our customers' properties.
  • Customer Service: Engage with customers, keep them informed, and ensure their delivery and installation is carried out to the highest standard following best practice guidance.
  • Load Management: Manage changing volumes of load held in the vehicle during the day, regularly reviewing, adjusting, and securing the load to ensure safety.
  • Equipment Handling: Utilize equipment and correctly handle products to ensure best practice for a safe delivery, following manual handling and Health and Safety training.
Requirements:
  • Customer Service: A passion for delivering excellent customer service and strong verbal communication skills, both on the phone and face-to-face.
  • Flexibility: Ability to work flexibly, alone or collaboratively with colleagues, to ensure we win together.
  • Problem-Solving: Utilize initiative to problem-solve in a timely and calm manner to ensure both business and customer needs are satisfied.
