The RoleWe are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building scalable architecture on AWS and providing support to engineering teams with DevOps practices. This role requires a blend of expertise in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and DevOps to ensure robust, secure, and efficient operations.
Key Responsibilities- AWS Architecture and Implementation:
- Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
- Ensure the security, availability, and performance of all cloud environments.
- Data Engineering:
- Develop and manage data pipelines and ETL processes to support data analytics and business intelligence.
- Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.
- Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards.
- DevOps Practices:
- Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
- Develop and manage monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
- Collaboration and Support:
- Work closely with engineering teams to provide DevOps and data engineering support.
- Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and DevOps.
- Continuous Improvement:
- Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, DevOps tools, and data engineering technologies.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of product and technology roadmaps and strategies.
- Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Experience:
- Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on AWS.
- Skills:
- Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, EB, Redshift, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
- Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
- Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g.,).
- Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g.,).
- Preferred Qualifications:
- AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
- Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g.,).
- Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
- Strong focus on delivering high-quality and reliable solutions.
