The Role

We are seeking a highly skilled AWS Cloud Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in building scalable architecture on AWS and providing support to engineering teams with DevOps practices. This role requires a blend of expertise in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and DevOps to ensure robust, secure, and efficient operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • AWS Architecture and Implementation:
    • Design, build, and maintain scalable and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS.
    • Ensure the security, availability, and performance of all cloud environments.
  • Data Engineering:
    • Develop and manage data pipelines and ETL processes to support data analytics and business intelligence.
    • Optimize data storage and retrieval processes for performance and scalability.
    • Ensure data quality, integrity, and compliance with data governance standards.
  • DevOps Practices:
    • Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to automate the software development lifecycle.
    • Develop and manage monitoring and alerting solutions to ensure system reliability and performance.
    • Collaborate with engineering teams to improve deployment processes and operational efficiency.
  • Collaboration and Support:
    • Work closely with engineering teams to provide DevOps and data engineering support.
    • Provide guidance and training to team members on best practices in cloud infrastructure, data engineering, and DevOps.
  • Continuous Improvement:
    • Stay up-to-date with the latest AWS services, DevOps tools, and data engineering technologies.
    • Contribute to the development and implementation of product and technology roadmaps and strategies.
    Qualifications
    • Education:
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
    • Experience:
      • Proven experience as a DevOps Engineer, Data Engineer, or similar role with a strong focus on AWS.
    • Skills:
      • Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, EB, Redshift, S3, RDS, Lambda, and others.
      • Proficiency in scripting and programming languages (e.g., Python, Bash).
      • Experience with data engineering tools and frameworks (e.g.,).
      • Strong understanding of monitoring and logging tools (e.g.,).
    • Preferred Qualifications:
      • AWS certifications such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, AWS Certified DevOps Engineer, or AWS Certified Data Analytics.
      • Familiarity with data warehousing solutions (e.g.,).
      • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development.
      • Strong focus on delivering high-quality and reliable solutions.
      • Be open-minded and curious with all aspects of the business.
      • Have clear and effective verbal and written communication skills in English.
