Job Overview:

CV-Library is recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager to lead a dedicated team in a small residential home supporting individuals with learning disabilities and physical disabilities. As the ideal candidate, you will be responsible for ensuring high-quality care plans are delivered, fostering independence, and maintaining a safe environment.

This senior role requires a compassionate leader who can develop care plans tailored to individual needs, while adhering to CQC standards and regulatory requirements. Your leadership will be instrumental in creating a culture of respect and dignity.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Operational Management: Lead daily operations of the residential home, ensuring compliance with CQC regulations.
  2. Care Quality: Oversee delivery of high-quality care plans, meeting residents' physical, emotional, and social needs in a safe environment.
  3. Team Leadership: Supervise and train a team of care staff, promoting a positive culture.
  4. Compliance & Regulation: Ensure the service complies with CQC guidelines and safeguarding protocols.
  5. Individual Care Plans: Develop, implement, and review care plans collaboratively with residents, families, and external professionals.
Requirements:
  • NVQ Level 4 in Health & Social Care (or equivalent)
  • Proven experience managing or working in a residential setting supporting individuals with learning disabilities and/or physical disabilities
  • Strong understanding of CQC regulations and best practices in residential care
  • Experience in managing or supervising a team, with leadership skills to motivate and develop staff
  • A strong commitment to providing high-quality care and understanding of challenging behaviours
