Job Title: Civil Enforcement Officer

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our team as a Civil Enforcement Officer. As a key member of our enforcement team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safety and compliance of road users in Colchester.

Responsibilities:

  • Patrol designated areas to enforce parking restrictions and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Protect the safety and interests of all road users, including pedestrians, cyclists, and motorists.
  • Issue penalty charge notices to drivers who contravene parking regulations.
  • Respond to face-to-face customer enquiries and provide excellent customer service.
  • Report any issues with the road network to the relevant authorities.

Qualifications, Skills, and Experience:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A full UK manual driving licence.
  • The ability to walk more than 10 miles a day in any weather condition.
