Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Maintenance Specialist to join our team at a leading manufacturer in the North East. As a Mechanical Maintenance Specialist, you will be responsible for performing preventative and reactive maintenance duties, as well as maintaining and developing the PPM schedule.

Key Responsibilities:
  • TIG and MIG Welding
  • Pneumatics
  • Maintain and develop the PPM schedule
  • Team player and hands-on approach
  • Undertake a variety of preventative and reactive maintenance duties
  • Potential installation of machinery
Requirements:
  • Time Served with a Maintenance Qualification
  • Experience of working within a Manufacturing industry, chemical or heavy industry would be ideal
  • Mechanical / Fitter Experience – ideally TIG / MIG Welding
  • Hydraulics and Pneumatics experience
  • Excellent communications skills
  • Electrical Understanding (desired, if not training will be undertaken on site)
