Job Overview
This exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced policy professional to lead on people policy development and implementation. You'll partner with various teams across the business to develop, implement, and maintain effective HR compliance programs, including internal HR processes & standard operating procedures.

Key Responsibilities
- Ensure business operations adhere to internal policies, regulatory requirements, and standard processes. You'll be responsible for the development of policies, procedures, and controls, and develop and maintain risk management frameworks and methodologies to identify, assess, and manage operational risks.
- Conduct horizon scanning to ensure that the business is kept fully briefed on developments associated with regulatory, industry and employment developments acting as an SME on all regulatory/industry changes and act as key contact point for the business and team.
- Support the business on key regulatory policy projects, helping colleagues understand and assess impacts of changes to the regulatory framework, including support with benchmarking.
- Support First Line teams to assess the impact of regulatory changes and the development of key controls through the implementation of a pro-active engagement model.

Requirements
- Expertise in legislation and/or regulation and the skills to interpret and apply that knowledge within a business. Experience of the regulatory environment relating to employment law and regulation would be preferred.
- Experience working in a 2LoD compliance advisory position or a role which involves you providing regular compliance advice to partners or team members.
- You'll need to be curious and prepared to dig beneath the surface to get an understanding of the regulatory challenges faced by the business.
- Experience designing, drafting, and implementing HR policies and compliance programs in multiple countries would be beneficial.
- Ability to work independently and lead teams as required, including partnering with the People & Places team, business leaders, and HR Legal to drive compliance and HR-related projects and ensure seamless response to new compliance obligations and projects.
