Job Summary:

The HR Advisor role is a key-facing position with line managers and employees within the school campuses and with functional teams in Head Office. It represents the face of the employer brand at ACS International Schools and provides a trusted advisor service on HR policies, procedures, and regulatory frameworks.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the monitoring of absence data, review trends, and manage sickness absence procedures to ensure a healthy and productive work environment.
  • Partner with line managers to develop and implement effective HR policies and procedures, including training and development programs.
  • Collaborate with the recruitment team to identify and support recruitment needs, ensuring a smooth onboarding process for new employees.
  • Support the HR Business Partner in delivering HR initiatives, including change management programs, HR projects, and case management.
  • Identify people-related gaps and lead change management projects to ensure efficiency and effectiveness in HR practices and procedures.
  • Contribute to People Strategy discussions, annual HR plans, and projects, and other organizational strategic initiatives.
  • Stay up-to-date with external influences, best practices, and impending legislation, and provide HR project management activities as required.
  • Provide generalist HR advice on terms and conditions, application of HR policies, and first-line employee relations.
  • Demonstrate a good understanding of employment law and effectively manage employee relations matters, including disciplinaries, grievances, and regulatory meetings.
