Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Communications Team Assistant to join our team at County Durham & Darlington NHS Foundation Trust.

About the Role

The successful candidate will provide administrative support to the team, including scheduling appointments, managing files, and processing paperwork. This is an excellent opportunity to work in a fast-paced environment and develop your skills in communications and administration.

Key Responsibilities
  • Schedule and manage appointments and meetings for the team
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the communications team
  • Draft, proofread, and send emails, letters, and other forms of communication on behalf of the team
  • Assist in the planning and delivery of events
  • Support ongoing communications campaigns by helping with research, coordination, and reporting
Requirements
  • Demonstrable administrative experience
  • Experience in setting up and maintaining office online filing systems
  • Experience of maintaining and setting up databases
  • Experience in planning and organizing meetings / events and taking notes
  • Experience of providing secretarial/administrative support to a team
Salary Information

The estimated salary for this role is £20,000-£25,000 per annum, depending on experience.
