We are currently looking for an enthusiastic and empathetic Relief Support Worker to join our team in the Darlington area.

As a Relief Support Worker, you will be responsible for providing person-centred support to our service users on a flexible relief basis. This may include assisting with daily living skills, personal care, social skills, and relationships.

You will also be required to monitor and administer prescribed medication in accordance with our Medication Policy.

Job Description:

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred support to service users on a flexible relief basis
  • Assist service users in maintaining their independence
  • Support service users in administering prescribed medication

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Experience in providing care and support to individuals with learning disabilities
  • Understanding of positive behaviour support (desirable)
  • Ability to work flexibly and positively regard for individuals we support
