Academic Projects Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:- Support the Project Manager in the on-boarding process of new clients and participate in the client enquiry/project initiation process using an understanding of the triage process.
- Assist in reviewing project scope for alignment with contract requirements in terms of work scope and assist in the preparation of timelines to support the quote process in conjunction with Client Services and Operations.
- Act as the primary point of contact for the project work for internal/external customers and manage and coordinate schedules across the department, including lab scheduling and resource management.
- Participate in collaborative discussions with client and scientific teams to fully define the project requirements and ensure these are communicated to the project team.
- Assist to set-up, monitor and maintain appropriate tracking for each project and escalate issues as required.
- University/College degree and minimum 1 year of relevant Project Management Office experience.
- Up-to-date knowledge of regulatory guidelines (desirable).
- Commercial awareness, interpersonal and negotiating skills.
