This is a key position within Forthglade's supply chain team, serving as a vital link between the company's supply and commercial functions. The primary objective of this role is to provide a clear demand signal into the supply chain, supporting factory scheduling, material purchasing, and the optimization of finished goods inventory.
The successful candidate will be responsible for managing demand and forecast systems, collecting and analyzing data, and creating insights to inform commercial decisions. They will also be involved in exceptional demand event planning, such as promotional calendar management and new product launches.
Main Responsibilities- Develop and maintain demand planning systems, ensuring accurate data collection and analysis.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address commercial assumptions and challenges.
- Analyze and report on medium- and long-term forecast changes, providing insights to inform business decisions.
- Translate demand planning data into material planning data for procurement and manufacturing.
- Manage supply chain relationships with D2C fulfillment providers, ensuring material planning and performance are aligned.
- Support international import/export and associated transport procedures, working closely with finance and technical teams.
This role requires a confident and experienced supply chain professional with a strong understanding of demand planning processes and procedures. The ideal candidate will have a robust character, able to switch between data analysis and implementation, and possess excellent communication skills.
Key qualifications include:
- At least 3 years of experience in demand planning, factory scheduling, material planning, and/or stock control.
- Strong understanding of demand planning processes, procedures, and measures.
- Logistics, storage, and transport management experience, including 3rd-party logistics relationships.
- At least 5 years of experience in FMCG food manufacturing, warehousing, supply chain, and distribution environments.
