Barings Summer Internship Programme

We are seeking candidates for summer internship positions. After the internship, outstanding performers will be considered for a position in the Analyst Programme upon graduation.

Key Responsibilities

  • 9-week programme with potential to convert to full-time offer based on strong performance and business needs
  • Placements available across various investment teams, including public and private fixed income, real estate, and specialty equity markets
  • Support underwriting efforts for debt/equity opportunities, including market research, financial analysis, risk analysis, and investment memo drafting
  • Ongoing portfolio monitoring, analysis, and valuation
  • Assist with special ad-hoc projects, presentations, and initiatives

Requirements

  • Currently in penultimate year of university, on track for a 2.1 or higher, with a degree completion date of Spring 2026
  • Business, Finance, Economics, Real Estate, Statistics, and other relevant degrees preferred
  • Strong computer skills, specifically in Microsoft Office applications and data sourcing
  • Excellent writing and communication skills, with ability to work in a fast-paced, transaction-oriented team
  • Self-starter, must be organized and able to work independently
  • Ability to prioritize work and multitask responsibilities
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Ability to perform under pressure and meet time-sensitive deadlines
