Job Summary:

Avenir Investment Management Limited is seeking a highly skilled Investment Operations Risk Manager to join our team. As a key member of our investment operations team, you will be responsible for identifying and assessing risks related to Web3 investments, developing and implementing risk management strategies, and monitoring and reporting risk status to management and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Risk Identification and Assessment:

    Utilize your expertise to identify and assess risks related to Web3 investments, including market risk, technical risk, operational risk, and compliance risk. Analyze market dynamics, technological trends, and regulatory environments to forecast and evaluate potential risks.

  2. Risk Control and Management:

    Develop and implement effective risk management strategies and measures to ensure investment security. Establish and maintain internal control processes, regularly review and optimize risk management policies.

  3. Monitoring and Reporting:

    Continuously monitor the risk status of investment projects, promptly identify and address emerging risks. Regularly report risk management status to management and stakeholders, including risk assessment results, control measures, and monitoring outcomes.

  4. Cross-Department Collaboration:

    Collaborate closely with the investment team, technical team, and legal team to ensure effective implementation of risk control strategies. Provide professional opinions and advice to support the company's investment decisions.

Requirements:
  1. Educational Background:

    Bachelor's degree or higher in Finance, Economics, Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or other related fields.

  2. Work Experience:

    At least 3 years of experience in investment risk management or related fields, with experience in Web3 preferred.

  3. Professional Skills:

    Familiarity with blockchain technology, cryptocurrencies, and decentralized finance (DeFi). Excellent risk analysis and management skills, capable of independently developing and implementing risk management strategies. Proficiency in using risk management software and tools, with data analysis and modeling capabilities.

  4. Other Requirements:

    Strong sense of responsibility and risk awareness, able to work under high pressure. Excellent communication and collaboration skills, able to communicate effectively with team members and management. Adaptability to night shifts, with good time management and self-discipline.
