About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Independent Living Partner to join our team at Abri. As a key member of our Independent Living team, you will be responsible for providing housing management functions in designated schemes and properties for older people.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide tenancy, leasehold, and scheme management services to customers living in our Independent Living schemes.
  • Support customers to receive their agreed welfare contact and refer them to services within and external to Abri as needed.
  • Manage the social alarm system and complete compliance and health and safety checks across relevant buildings.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to create and maintain strong resident involvement and community engagement.
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of housing-related issues and promote independence among customers.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives.

Requirements

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility and ability to work independently.
  • Strong understanding of housing-related issues and customer needs.
  • Confidence in using IT systems and technology.
  • Ability to travel and work across the region as required.
  • Full driving license and use of a car for work-related travel.
