Job Title: Female Support Worker

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Female Support Worker to join our Home Care Team. The successful candidate will provide high-quality care and support to a vulnerable adult with complex needs.

About the Role:
  • Provide personal care and support to the individual, including assistance with daily living tasks.
  • Assist with medication management and administration.
  • Support the individual to maintain their independence and engage in activities that promote their physical and emotional well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the individual's care team to ensure a holistic approach to their care.
  • Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to the development of care plans.
About the Individual:

The individual we support is a female in her early sixties who has sustained a brain injury. She requires quiet, empathetic support to assist her to maintain her interests in daily life and to access the community. She uses a powered wheelchair and lives alone with a care team to support her with her daily living.

Requirements:
  • Experience working with adults with complex needs.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and respect the individual's autonomy.
  • Willingness to participate in ongoing training and development.
