The Finance Manager will be responsible for producing accurate and timely monthly management accounts and subsidiary books, while overseeing the development of accounting procedures and financial policies.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparation of month-end management accounts, including actual results, forecasts, and targets.
  • Reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts on a monthly basis, ensuring assets and liabilities are fairly reported.
  • Development of monthly commentary and adherence to external reporting requirements.
  • Management and monitoring of financial Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), identifying areas for team improvement.
  • Providing financial support and handling internal queries.

We are seeking an experienced candidate with:

  • Excellent Excel skills, capable of handling and manipulating large datasets.
  • A high level of attention to detail, with experience in tracking changes and implementing change control processes.
  • Superb communication skills, with ability to build trust and confidence with partners through regular dialogue.
  • Experience in implementing reporting systems and improving business processes.
  • A strong problem-solving mindset, with a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • Professional qualifications such as ACA/CIMA/ACCA.
  • Knowledge of UK reporting standards and experience with audited financial statements.
