We are seeking a highly motivated Substance Use Specialist to join our team in North Wales. The successful candidate will be responsible for facilitating group sessions aimed at supporting individuals with substance use challenges.

The Substance Use Specialist will deliver therapeutic interventions, provide education on substance use and recovery, and foster a safe and supportive group environment. They will collaborate with other professionals, ensuring a holistic approach to each client's care.

Maintain accurate records of group attendance, participation, and progress, submit reports on group outcomes, participant engagement, and any incidents during group sessions.

Collaborate with other community organisations and stakeholders to enhance group support programs.

Excellent communication, group facilitation, and conflict-resolution skills.

Familiarity with trauma-informed care and how it relates to substance use.

The ideal candidate will have experience of direct work with young people in a relevant setting, creating tailored support plans, and delivering group-based sessions.

They will also have experience of managing a workload and prioritising competing demands, and the ability to travel independently to meet the requirements of the post.

The salary for this role is £23,868.00 (Full Time Equivalent), with progression salaries available.
