**Job Title:** Senior Department Lead
Herts Resourcing Group is working with a college in Cambridge to find an experienced professional for the Motor Vehicle and Technical Construction team.
The successful candidate will support the Head of Department to provide high-quality management, leadership, and guidance across the curriculum, ensuring an excellent learning experience that promotes high achievement for all students through exemplary practice in teaching, learning, and assessment.
As part of the Electrical Installations curriculum area, you will work with modern teaching environments where students and staff thrive. The role requires flexibility to travel between campuses as needed.
**Key Responsibilities:**
- Assist the Head of Department in managing and developing the curriculum, including staff and resource management.
- Improve student outcomes by achieving and maintaining high standards of performance through tracking, monitoring, and inspiring staff and students.
- Play a pivotal role in Quality development and area improvement.
**Requirements:**
- Possess relevant subject trade qualifications.
- Have at least 5 years of teaching experience leading a team within the FE sector.
- Hold a clean driver's license and access to a vehicle.
- Be eligible to work in the UK.
