We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Culinary Lead to join our team at CH&CO. As a Senior Culinary Lead, you will be responsible for overseeing the kitchen operations and ensuring that all culinary standards are met.

Job Summary
  • This is an exciting opportunity to work as a key member of our senior living team in Barnet.

The ideal candidate will have a passion for great-tasting food and exceptional customer service. They will also possess relevant qualifications such as City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent, experience supervising a team, and a flexible approach to work.

As a Senior Culinary Lead, you can expect to earn £14.98 per hour and work 40 hours per week, with 5 days over 7. Uniforms will be provided, and you will have the opportunity to work with a dynamic team to deliver high-quality food and excellent customer service.

Responsibilities
  • Oversee kitchen operations and ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain high-quality standards of food presentation and taste.
  • Supervise a team of chefs and provide guidance and support where needed.
  • Develop and implement menus that meet the needs of our residents.
  • Work collaboratively with other departments to achieve business objectives.
Requirements
  • Degree in Culinary Arts or related field.
  • City & Guilds 706/1 & 2 or NVQ equivalent.
  • Experience in a similar role, preferably in a care home or hotel setting.
  • Flexible approach to work, including ability to work varied shifts.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
