Payroll Officer Job Description

We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team at Portfolio Payroll. As a key member of our payroll team, you will be responsible for managing a payroll of 230 staff on a monthly basis, working closely with the accountant, Financial Controller, and HR Team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Process payroll for 230 staff on a monthly basis
  • Collaborate with the accountant, Financial Controller, and HR Team to ensure accurate and timely payroll processing
  • Manage hybrid working arrangements to ensure flexibility and efficiency
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations
Requirements:
  • Proven track record of payroll operations and experience working in a similar role
  • Excellent organisational, inter-personal, and communication skills
  • Ability to multi-task, determine priorities, and work to tight deadlines in a busy and demanding environment
  • IT proficiency, accuracy, and numeracy
  • 36.5 hours per week, 30 days holiday
