We are seeking a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team on a 6-month fixed-term contract based in Oxford. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of payroll operations and excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
Key Responsibilities:- Manage a payroll of 230 staff on a monthly basis, alongside 2 other payrolls for casual workers and external workers.
- Collaborate closely with the accountant, Financial Controller, and HR Team to ensure seamless payroll operations.
- Work in a hybrid environment, with flexibility to accommodate the ideal candidate's needs.
- Utilise IT systems to accurately process payroll, with a focus on efficiency and productivity.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
- Proven experience in payroll operations, with a strong understanding of payroll systems and processes.
- Excellent organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- IT proficiency, with experience in using payroll software and systems.
- Accuracy and numeracy, with the ability to work to tight deadlines in a busy and demanding environment.
- 36.5 hours per week, with 30 days' holiday per annum.
This is an excellent opportunity for a skilled Payroll Officer to join our team and contribute to the success of our organisation.
