About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Senior Care Assistant to lead and inspire a team of care assistants to provide exceptional care to our residents. As a Senior Care Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting our residents with their personal care needs, administering medication, and maintaining accurate records.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and motivate a team of care assistants to deliver high-quality care
  • Support residents with personal care needs, including bathing, dressing, and toileting
  • Administer medication and maintain accurate records
  • Develop and implement care plans to meet the individual needs of residents
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care

Requirements:

  • Minimum NVQ level 2 or equivalent in health and social care
  • Previous experience in a care setting, preferably in a leadership role
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Ability to work well under pressure and prioritize tasks effectively
  • Compassionate and empathetic approach to care
