Care Supervisor Job Description
Specialist Care Team is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Care Supervisor to join our home care service. As a Care Supervisor, you will play a vital role in leading our care team and ensuring that high standards of care are consistently delivered to our service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead by example, demonstrating excellent care practices and promoting a positive work environment.
- Assist in training new support workers and provide ongoing mentorship to help them grow and develop in their roles.
- Monitor and review care plans, ensuring they reflect the needs of our clients and report any changes or issues to ensure the highest level of care.
- Create and maintain individual care plans for some service users, working alongside staff and service users to ensure the plans are up to date and relevant.
- Participate in a shared on-call rota, providing support to staff and helping manage any unplanned absences.
Requirements:
- A passion for care and great communication skills (written and verbal).
- Leadership qualities and the desire to grow and develop into a management role.
- Willingness to work towards a Level 3 qualification in Health and Social Care (we'll provide training opportunities).
