Beds SU, the student charity of Bedfordshire University, seeks experienced individuals to join its Board of Trustees. This role is perfect for those who want to make a lasting impact on students' lives and further their interests.

The Student Union supports students in various ways, from enhancing their university experience to providing services that cater to their diverse needs. As a Trustee, you will play a crucial part in overseeing the strategic direction of Beds SU and ensuring its activities align with the unique membership it serves.

The student body at Bedfordshire University is one of the most mature and ethnically diverse in the UK, comprising international students, apprentices, and those with children or work-based placements. By serving as a Trustee, you can make a valuable contribution to wider society, especially the Bedfordshire student body. A diversity of backgrounds and perspectives will enhance the Board's collective capability, and we encourage applications from under-represented groups, including Asian, Black, and other ethnic minority backgrounds.

Responsibilities include participating in online meetings (up to 7 per year), engaging in online training, and attending an annual in-person Board meeting. You will also be asked to complete an online application form via the Beds SU website.

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £**15,000 - £20,000 per annum**, based on industry standards and location. Please note that this is an estimate and may vary depending on individual circumstances.
