- about 5 hours agoOur client, a market leader in its specialist field with a stellar reputation for quality, is looking to hire a credible Head of Finance to join its team. Reporting directly to the MD, this role will play a key role in delivering finance strategy, driving performance of the business and developing strong financial controls.

Main duties include:

- Responsibility for the forecasting of the business P&L, balance sheet and inventory position
- Member of the Management Team, supporting setting the strategic direction of the business
- Closure and sign off for the financial statements at month and year end
- Prepare and present at Board Meetings
- Provide strategic analysis to assist business planning and decision making
- Prepare budgets
- Manage all capital expenditure
- Develop direct reports through coaching and support
- Attend business review meetings with key stakeholders

Key skills and experience required:

- Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
- Strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of accounting standards, coupled with impressive commercial awareness and proven business partnering
- Planning, budgeting and forecasting skills
- Proven track record shaping and delivering strategy
- Proactive and positive approach, track record of problem solving
- Ability to influence at all levels and build relationships with ease
- Proven leader, capable of managing a range of skills levels and backgrounds
- Strong industry experience gained in product/manufacturing related environments
