Intelligent Resource are partnering with our public sector client to recruit an Associate HR Business Partner to join to their team to provide support advice and guidance and act as a people partner to various stakeholders within the organisation and theirteams, to ensure workforce and HR requirements are identified, supported and delivered.
The role is a Hybrid position, you will be required to attend site weekly, predominately based at a mutually agreed site based on home location from list below, travelling around sites as required and managing own diary with approx. 2-3 days homeworking.

The role is based in the East of England - with sites in Bedfordshire, Hertfordshire, Cambridgeshire, Essex, Norfolk or Suffolk

**Job Requirements;**
- Provide expert advice on HR cases to managers, including highly complex and sensitive cases.
- To actively support change management by facilitating and delivering improvements which impact on staff, working closely with team members and managers to achieve business plan outcomes. Act as an advocate of change and champion 'change' by educating, informing,and coaching staff.
- Monitor performance and highlight areas of concern using HR metrics and scorecards.
- Develop excellent working relationships and ensure provision of consistent professional service by providing excellent knowledge and principles of good practice, influencing, and driving HR approaches that support the business objectives. Developing a cultureof trust and support a partnership approach with external and internal stakeholders.
- Maintain knowledge of employment legislation and best practice and ensure reflected across the organisation.
- Develop effective relationships with staff representatives and trade unions.
- Maintenance and updating of records, reports and feedback which enables HR and other colleagues to track progress of cases and queries.
- Assist managers in creating and implementing performance frameworks and identifying training needs, creating training courses and sessions where required.
- Support managers in continuous improvement, developing policies, procedures and strategies which enable this.
- Deal with queries relating to T&C's of employment and other work-related documents/ issues including pay and conditions
- Take part in recruitment drives as part of interview panels as required.
- Actively promote Equality, Diversity and non-discriminatory culture, taking action on any behaviours that undermine this.

**Knowledge and Skills Required.**
- Grad CIPD or substantial evidence of continuing professional and personal development equivalent to this level.
- Degree level qualification in HR or similar discipline.
- Detailed and up to date specialist knowledge of employment legislation, HR best practice and equal opportunity issues.
- Specialist HR procedural and policy knowledge across all areas of HR. Significant in-depth experience in general HR management or equivalent
- Analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Able to plan and prioritise work to meet deadlines.
- Able to communicate effectively and with clarity and precision both orally and in writing.
- Experience of change management and carrying out job evaluations.
- Experience in designing and implementing HR training modules and delivering training.
