Job Title: Hospital Catering Assistant

We are seeking a highly motivated and customer-focused individual to join our Patient Dining team as a Hospital Catering Assistant. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional catering services to patients in a hospital setting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide menus and take orders from patients, ensuring their dietary and allergen needs are met.
  • Prepare and deliver refreshments and meals for breakfast, lunch, and dinner service.
  • Clear down ward areas and wash up dirty dishes, maintaining a clean and hygienic environment.
  • Liaise with ward staff to ensure patients' needs are met in a timely manner.
  • Offer outstanding customer service, prioritizing patient satisfaction and well-being.
  • Awareness of food and hygiene standards is essential.
  • Ability to work under pressure, both individually and as part of a team, with a flexible approach to meet business needs.
  • Confident working in a hospital environment, with awareness of patients' varying needs and potential distress.
  • This role is subject to a Disclosure and Barring Service check, with costs met by the employer.
