Senior Director - Engineering Consultancy

CBRE Project Management and Building Consultancy is seeking a Senior Director to lead the Engineering Consultancy business in Scotland. This is a key role that will drive growth and excellence in a highly skilled team.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide leadership, governance, and delivery excellence to the Engineering Consultancy team.
  • Participate in senior leadership group strategic and operational meetings.
  • Deliver the identified pipeline to achieve team targets.
  • Build relationships with existing and potential clients.
  • Liaise with colleagues to determine and identify project opportunities.
  • Support cross-selling function across the CBRE business.
  • Grow the Engineering Consultancy business with both internal and external opportunities.
  • Support the PMBC team business strategy and targets.
  • Support the wider regional projects business strategy and wider PMBC business.
  • Work with the financial director to ensure accurate divisional project forecasting and reporting.
  • Contribute to the development and growth of other team members.
  • Promote and ensure the safe delivery of projects through the management of risk and competence.
  • Recruit and retain talent for the present delivery and future growth of the Engineering Consultancy business.
Requirements:
  • Minimum 10 years of building services design experience in a consultancy environment.
  • Previous design and surveying experience.
  • Ideal candidate will hold a relevant Building Services Engineering degree or equivalent, Chartered status desirable.
  • Able to work collaboratively across other disciplines.
  • Strong analytical, numerical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Highly developed communicator with the ability to make a good first impression.
  • Resilient, adaptable, and above all, keen and enthusiastic with a hunger to learn and diversify.
  • A team player.
  • Confident to meet, network, and socialize with potential and existing clients.
  • Able to prove eligibility to work in the UK.
