Autism Primary Education Specialist

We are seeking an experienced Special Educational Needs Teacher to join our team at a special school in Moseley, South Birmingham. This position is a 12-month maternity contract.
The school provides education, health and care plans for primary pupils aged 5-11 years with areas of need including cognition and learning, speech, language and communication needs, as well as associated physical, sensory and medical needs.
Requirements:- QTS or Equivalent qualification
- Minimum 6 months experience teaching within a special school setting
- TEAM TEACH Certificate (Desirable)
- An enhanced DBS on the update service or prepared to apply for a new one
- A highly skilled and enthusiastic teacher who can promote independence, communication and social skills in pupils
