Deputy Director of Admissions

At the John Locke Institute, we are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Director of Admissions to join our team. As a key member of our admissions team, you will be responsible for attracting and processing applications from initial enquiry through to enrolment and induction, ensuring an excellent applicant experience and journey.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively manage all aspects of the admissions process, including communicating with prospective candidates, arranging admissions interviews, and communicating decisions.
  • Assess the effectiveness of the admissions process, identify areas for improvement, and implement data-driven solutions.
  • Implement various projects related to the admissions process, including digitalisation and the use of new tools, apps, and platforms.
Requirements:
  • A structured and organised approach to work, with strong planning skills and keen attention to detail.
  • Exceptional organisational and project management abilities, capability of multitasking, prioritising tasks, and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proven track record in university/high school admissions or in a related field.
  • A strong background in Salesforce, with familiarity with other CRM systems an advantage.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to make data-driven decisions and willingness to learn.
  • Outstanding interpersonal, public speaking, and writing skills.
  • Excellent level of English (native or C1+).
  • Bachelor's degree; a Master's degree will be considered an asset.
