Job Overview

The role of Senior Contract Surveyor at Bruton Knowles involves delivering high-quality services to Transport and Utility clients, focusing on Compensation and Compulsory Purchase work. Main Responsibilities
  1. Fee Generation - Maximise revenue through effective project management and client engagement.
  2. Client Relationship Management - Develop and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive business growth.
  3. Ensure the successful delivery of projects, meeting client expectations and company targets.
  4. Optimise team utilisation, ensuring efficient use of resources and expertise.
  5. Maximise profitability through efficient project management and cost control.
  6. Deliver projects within agreed budgets and timelines, maintaining high client satisfaction.
  7. Negotiate compensation and compensation-related matters with clients, ensuring mutually beneficial outcomes.
  8. Identify and pursue new business opportunities, expanding the company's client base.
  9. Support the development of team members, promoting professional growth and expertise.
  10. Participate in training and team meetings, staying up-to-date with industry developments and best practices.
  11. Provide support to other offices as required, contributing to the company's overall success.
  12. Offer expert advice on CPO and compensation matters within the company.
Person Specification

The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of the Transportation and Utility sectors, with a senior-level background and RICS accreditation. They will be a self-motivated individual with excellent interpersonal skills, able to communicate effectively with colleagues and clients.

  6. Strong attention to detail, with a high level of accuracy and precision in all aspects of work.

  8. Excellent IT skills, with proficiency in Microsoft Office packages and other relevant software.
  9. A full driving licence, with the ability to travel as required.
