Job Title: Materials Management Technician

We are seeking an experienced Materials Management Technician to join our team at Pharmaron. As a key member of our Materials Management department, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our clinical GMP environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Clean and maintain manufacturing equipment and facilities according to GMP and company standards.
  • Dispense materials for manufacture, manage inventory, and coordinate shipping activities.
  • Train others in Materials Management processes and guide the design of training programs.
  • Investigate deviations, implement CAPA, and support the improvement of documents.
  • Assist with safety and regulatory compliance activities.
  • Receive and store materials according to their precise storage requirements.
  • Perform routine stock checking and stock system maintenance tasks.
  • Deliver received items to the order originator or storage location.
  • Communicate with internal customers to confirm that requirements are met.
  • Collect and process site hazardous and non-hazardous waste in a compliant and safe manner.
Requirements:
  • Previous experience in a similar role within the pharmaceutical industry, with advanced understanding of GMP and its requirements.
  • Excellent attention to detail and a methodical approach.
  • Knowledge of chemical safety and handling.
  • Experience of cleaning and handling fragile materials.
  • Prior experience in the disposal of hazardous wastes.
  • Good planning and organization skills, with ability to multi-task, manage time, and accept changing priorities.
  • Effective written and oral communication skills.
  • Good stakeholder and relationship management.
  • Ability to work within and contribute to multidisciplinary scientific teams and environment.
