Environmental Test Specialist

About the Role:
We are seeking an experienced Environmental Test Engineer to join our Mechanical and Climatic Test Department. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering complex test campaigns on various programmes, utilizing cutting-edge equipment and techniques.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and execute multi-shaker and multi-axis vibration tests (random, sine, and mixed mode)
- Conduct high-g shock, altitude, humidity, and other environmental tests
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless test planning and execution
- Develop and maintain test procedures and documentation
- Identify and implement process improvements to enhance test efficiency and quality
Requirements:
- HNC/HND/Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience
- Strong problem-solving skills and fundamental knowledge of mechanical structures and analysis
- Proficiency in MS Office and experience with measurement equipment and devices
- Self-motivated and excellent interpersonal skills
- Methodical approach, safety-conscious, and able to work independently
Desirable Qualifications:
- Leadership experience in project delivery
- Previous experience with Siemens Testlab vibration control equipment or automated mechanical test systems
- Track record of identifying and implementing technical improvements
